The Battle Oak Austin, Texas
This live oak is the largest one among the Battle Oaks grove, located at the conor of 24 st. and Whitis Avenue in the campus of UT Austin. They are named in honor of Dr. William James Battle. He was among those who advocated nurturing the trees.
